A is bone! It is a fragment of a long bone shaft that has been weathered by being outside

B is bone! It is a fragment of pig bone that has been burned and is not calcined

C is not bone! It is a rock.

D is not bone! It is a piece of charcoal from the same fire that bone B was burned in.

What Animal is it?

A is a pig vertebrae that has been covered in lacquer that covers some of the identifying features making it harder to work with.

B is a racoon skull that was found on a nature trail and had naturally weathered from being exposed.

C is seal humerus that has weathered and turned white.
